What Is A Vichy Shower?

The Vichy Shower, which originated in France, consists of a wet treatment table and six head shower system, which pour water onto you while you're lying on a cushioned wet table. Imagine lying down and having warm water massage you like rain falling from the sky! It is usually part of a body treatment, like a salt scrub or body wrap. Instead of jumping up and getting in a shower to rinse off the salt or mud, you simply lie there. The cascade of water feels delicious! During a Vichy shower you are usually draped with towels -- one between your legs and for women, one across your breasts. You can wear disposable underwear. When you're on your back, the therapist might put something over your face to minimize the water spray in your face. Vichy Shower can easily adapt from a fine, misty water massage, to a directional pressured massage. The Spa - Body Treatments

A delightful array of the finest treatments available to pamper and nurture your body and leave you feeling refreshed and indulged.

Aqua Marine Mud is medically acclaimed as a pain reliever and for it's healing properties. It has been used for decades in mineral spring spas.

Seaweed has a high concentration of vitamins and minerals. It is energizing, stimulating and detoxifying.

Milk and Honey when properly combined, is a highly conditioning mixture. It restores skin balance to either dry or oily skin.

WRAPS

Rehydrating Milk and Honey Body Wrap This treatment starts with an exfoliating body scrub to prepare the skin, followed by the application of our milk, honey and clay body mask. While you are wrapped, a head and neck massage will release any stress and worries that you may be carrying.

Aroma-Contouring Body Mask Wrap Choose between our remineralizing marine mud wrap or our micronized detoxifying marine algae wrap. When either is combined with our unique blend of healing and stimulating essential oils, your skin will feel firmer and your body will be trimmer and stress free.

Seaweed Compression Wrap This treatment targets the lower body area to help contour and reduce cellulite. The seaweed wrap detoxifies, re-mineralizes and stimulates oxygen to the skin to tighten and firm.

POLISH

Tropical Marine Body Polish Your body is gently massaged with a mixture of sea salts and marine algae to gently exfoliate your dry and damaged skin, while simultaneously remineralizing and nourishing the skin. A hydrating cream is then applied, leaving the skin feeling silky smooth.

Color Me Bronze Add our fruit-based autobronzant treatment to either of the exfoliating treatments, Tropical Marine Body Polish or Rain Forest Body Scrub.

Aromatherapy Soak Both pure essential oils and organic Jojoba oil are used to customize this treatment.

Detox Soak Seaweed and sea salts are used to purify the body through toxin elimination.

Spa Signature Vichy Treatments

This treatment begins with a full-body exfoliation to slough away dead skin. Your body is then drenched with the warm ingredients in the wrap of your choice. Head, neck and foot massage are administered while you relax in your cocoon. Product is washed away with sea sponges under gently falling waters. This session is completed with an application of body lotion or dry oil.

 The Vichy Shower is adjusted to disburse a pleasant "rain" warm water massage on your body for approximately a quarter of an hour. Aromatherapy oils are first massaged into the body to start this treatment. 

Body Treatments restore balance and well-being, fostering the nurturing benefits of touch. Through use of natural products, the body is able to combat fatigue and stress by awakening the senses and revitalizing the skin.
